A 37 year-old Timblin man is facing assault and harassment charges after allegedly attacking his wife and tackling his daughter during a domestic incident at their home on April 20.
State police say Ryan Michael Sheesley, reportedly intoxicated, became aggressive after returning from a cookout, throwing food and threatening his wife. When their daughter tried to intervene, he allegedly tackled her to the ground. Troopers noted visible injuries on both victims. Sheesley claimed he was attacked first and only restrained the women.
ExploreClarion.Com reports he waived his preliminary hearing on May 8 and is free on $10,000 unsecured bail. The case is now in Jefferson County Court.
