The push is on, again, to raise Pennsylvania’s minimum wage.
Laborers and Democrats rallied in Harrisburg to support a bill raising Pennsylvania’s minimum wage to $15 an hour, up from the current $7.25.
This marks the 15th consecutive year lawmakers have pushed for an increase. Republicans oppose the bill, arguing it could lead to small business closures and that most minimum wage earners, like servers, earn tips to supplement their income.
