DUBOIS CITY OFFICIALS ADDRESS BARRIER CONCERNS, DETERIORATING BRIDGE CONDITION

DuBois City officials addressed concerns about barriers on Long Avenue, explaining the deteriorating condition of the bridge.

GantNews.com reports, Mayor Pat Reasinger noted the bridge’s weight limit had to be reduced due to state requirements. City Manager Shawn Arbaugh confirmed the bridge will be repaired, but work will begin next year, with completion expected by April or May.

Additionally, a stoplight at Brady Street and West Park Avenue is under investigation after being hit by a large vehicle.
