A program to help at-risk teens is accepting applications for its next class, which begins in January 2025.
The Keystone State ChalleNGe Academy is a program open to 16-to-18-year-old Pennsylvania residents who are at risk of not graduating from high school, no longer attending any school, or who have not received their high school diploma or equivalency. While at the camp at Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County, participants will be given a second chance at obtaining their basic education, along with learning leadership, self-discipline and responsibility.
Applicants must be drug-free, free of felony convictions, and voluntarily commit to the program. The program runs 22 weeks. The application is available online at the link below. Anyone who wants further information, or wants an application mailed can call 717-861-7767. https://www.dmva.pa.gov/KeystoneStateChallengeAcademy/Eligibility/Pages/Admissions.aspx
