A passenger was seriously injured after a sports car crashed into a tree in Decatur Township Friday evening.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.com, Austin Reams, lost control of his 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata on Morgan Run Road, crossing lanes before hitting the tree. Reams and his passenger, Robert Lindstrom, were treated at Penn Highlands DuBois. Lindstrom was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained serious injuries.
Reams, who was wearing a seatbelt, was charged with a traffic violation. The car was towed from the scene, and emergency services assisted.
