A Brookville man, 43-year-old Frank Carrier, is facing a felony charge after allegedly biting and punching an officer while intoxicated.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.com, police were called to a Maple Street residence on August 17 after reports of Carrier disturbing his neighbors. When officers arrived, Carrier, visibly drunk, resisted their attempts to talk and tried to enter his home, leading to a physical altercation. During the struggle, Carrier allegedly struck an officer twice and bit him before being arrested.
Carrier now faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, and is being held in Jefferson County Prison on $45,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for September 3.
