Join the Punxsutawney community for National Night Out at Barclay Square on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Punxsutawney Police Chief Matt Conrad emphasizes that the event strengthens community ties and builds positive relationships between residents and law enforcement.
This year’s event features a live band, food trucks, over 40 participating agencies and businesses, and fun activities like a bounce house, orb ball track, and more. Families can meet first responders and explore emergency equipment. The day includes food trucks from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., a Touch a Truck event at 5 p.m., music by Alex Shumaker, a Bike Rodeo at 5:30 p.m., and a 5K Run/Walk at 7 p.m.
