A 29-year-old Clarion woman, Cassandra Irene Smith, was arrested after being found passed out in her car in Venango County with multiple bricks of heroin and fentanyl.
Police responded to a call on July 21 about a car blocking a driveway on State Route 38, and according to ExploreClarion.Com, when troopers arrived, they found Smith unresponsive, with evidence of drug use visible in her vehicle. Upon waking, Smith displayed signs of impairment and failed sobriety tests. A search revealed three bricks of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
Smith was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver, and two other charges. Unable to post $15,000 bail, Smith remains in Venango County Prison. Her preliminary hearing is set for August 7.
