The Marion Center School District is seeing some positive impacts from the state budget passed earlier this month, as noted at Monday’s combined school board meeting.
Business Manager Rick Martini said he was pleased to learn that the district will receive an estimated $160 million for basic education subsidies, as well as an additional $56,000 for special education subsidies. He said while they are only estimates, Marion Center would not have to use reserve funds if the estimates don’t change.
