The Sandy Township Board of Supervisors has appointed Michael Hale as the new public works director, with a salary of $75,000 annually. GantNews.Com is reporting Hale, who has over five years of experience with Dave Roman Excavating, was previously approved by the City of DuBois.
The township will also advertise for an “engineering technician” to cover code enforcement and planning duties, requiring a two-year or higher degree in engineering planning services. The position needs Consolidation Joint Board approval.
