Indiana Borough Police are investigating a robbery that took place Monday evening at the Rite Aid along Philadelphia Street. Officers say they responded around 8:30 p.m. and witnesses on-scene reported that three people wearing surgical masks entered the store at the same time.
Two reportedly passed a note to the pharmacy staff demanding the release of controlled substances while the third remained at the front of the store. Officers also say a weapon was shown during the incident, but no one was harmed.
Anyone who has external cameras facing the general direction of the store is asked to check them for any photos or video of the suspects and report it to Indiana Borough Police.
