A Punxsutawney woman avoided injury when she lost control of her car on a wet road in Knox Township.
Pennsylvania State Police say the incident occurred on Tuesday evening when Tosha L. Riggie was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt southbound and encountered a right curve when her vehicle started to slide due to the rainy conditions. Riggie attempted to correct the car’s path, causing it to cross into the southbound lane and hit an embankment and support wire.
Fortunately, Riggie was wearing her seat belt and remained uninjured. However, the front left tire of her vehicle was significantly damaged.
