A 35-year-old man from Reynoldsville has been charged by Punxsutawney-based State Police for allegedly accepting payment for a tree removal job in Oliver Township that he never completed.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.Com, Joseph Edward Bussard provided an estimate of $2,000 to remove two trees from a residence, and the victim paid $400 as a deposit. Bussard is accused of failing to complete the job and not refunding the money.
Bussard has been charged with theft and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on the first of August.
