Using a new process that has just gone into effect, Pennsylvania hunters can now purchase doe tags beginning today.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission has done away with the old way of buying doe tags through the mail and is now allowing them to be purchased at retail locations that sell hunting licenses. With that general hunting and furtaker licenses and antlerless deer licenses are available for purchase.
Licenses can be bought at more than 650 licensing retailers across PA. There is a set limit of antlerless licenses in each area of the state and once they are sold, there will be no more available.
