The Punxsutawney Fire Department and the American Red Cross installed new smoke alarms that last 10 years to help save lives in case of fire.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports, they had a good turnout and were able to install 113 alarms in 66 homes. The Spirit adds they have a bunch of return visits to install bed shakers for those who are hearing impaired.
