Anyone going into a Jefferson County-owned building must wear a mask.
In today’s edition of The Punxsutawney Spirit, the Jefferson County Commissioners announced the mask requirement at their meeting yesterday, adding if anyone has a fever of 100.4 or higher at the newly installed temperature readers on the second floor, they will not be allowed further in the building. This precaution is in place as, the published report notes, Jefferson County recorded its 104th death do to complications from COVID 19.
