According to Triple A, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline across the Commonwealth is $2.42 per gallon.
Looking at local counties: Jefferson and Indiana check in at $2.48, Clearfield $2.49 and the lowest in the area is Clarion county with $2.45.
On the national front the average per gallon of gasoline stands at $2.19; whereas, a year ago it was $2.74.
