A Cherry Hill Township woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle accident in Green Township on Sunday around 4 in the afternoon.
Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr. reported that the victim was 78-year-old Sara E. Ashbaugh of Indiana. According to Overman’s report, she was a passenger in a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer that was going east on Route 286 in Commodore, when a 2008 Chevy Cobalt entered the highway from Musser Road.
Investigators say the two vehicles collided.
