The Punxsutawney Borough Council has a new member.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, Daniel P. Gordon was unanimously approved by the council to fill a vacant seat, giving them a total of seven members. The published report says Gordon was sworn in by Punxsutawney Mayor Richard Alexander at the meeting.
