The Pennsylvania State Police based out of Punxsutawney are investigating a report of someone who shot and killed a dog in Beaver Township of Jefferson County.
On June 29th around 9:30 pm along Heathville Ohl Road, a known person fired three rounds from a .17 caliber rifle at two dogs, killing one and the other has not been located. The owners of the dogs, a 30-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, both from Summerville, were not injured.
