More information has been released about an accident that happened last Tuesday in Perry Township of Jefferson County.
The crash occurred a little after noon when 33-year-old Chelsea Fenstermaker of Summerville was traveling west on number 8 Perry Road. Police say she crossed the double yellow lines and collided head on with a Jeep driven by 53-year-old Kelly Young of Punxsutawney, which caused the Jeep to roll onto the guide rail and on its passenger side.
Jefferson County EMS transported Young to The Punxsutawney Area Hospital for treatment of injures. Perry Township Fire Company assisted at the scene.
