A woman from Brockway reported more than $1,400 of unemployment checks were stolen in Snyder Township of Jefferson County.
The 38-year-old victim told police the unemployment office issued checks on the 10th and 18th of this month; however, she said they never registered in her bank account.
The investigation continues.
