
The Purchase Line School Board met Monday night and approved their budget, and district residents will actually see a decrease in their taxes.
The board approved a budget that includes $19,284,664 in revenues and $20,160,982 in expenditures. The deficit will be covered by a fund balance transfer of $876,318.
The board also approved the Athletics and Band Health Safety plan so that they can start their summer work. That plan will be posted on the district website.
A plan for the return to classes will be discussed at a special meeting on July 6th.
