There was a two-vehicle accident in Punxsutawney yesterday.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, which cited the Borough Police, the crash occurred at the intersection of Apple Pie Alley and Gilpin Street when a driver was traveling west on Union Street and failed to stop at a sign, then collided with a vehicle traveling south on Gilpin.
The published report says Elk Run, Central and Lindsey responded to the scene and one of the drivers was went to the hospital and Jefferson County EMS assisted.
