A man from Rossiter had minor injuries in a towing accident in Gaskill Township of Jefferson County.
On Wednesday around 2 in the morning, 24-year-old Dennis Coombs was in the driver’s seat of his SUV, being towed with a chain by a pickup truck driven by 23-year-old Christopher Mitchell of Falls Creek. Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney say the SUV entered the oncoming lane north on Mills Road and passed the pickup truck that was towing it, causing the truck to hit a tree and the SUV to roll onto its passenger side.
Big Run Area VFC transported Coombs to Punxsutawney Area Hospital for precautionary measures.
