A woman was flown to a hospital for treatment of injures following a single vehicle accident in Clover Township of Jefferson County.
Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney say yesterday after midnight 20-year-old Adam C. McAninch of Brookville was driving a compact car west on Roller Coaster Road when he traveled off the road and went into a skid. His vehicle hit a rock wall before striking a utility pole that caused the vehicle to roll over several times and came to a rest on all four wheels.
McAninch and one of his passengers were not injured; however, 30-year-old Katelyn Smith of Brookville was another passenger in the vehicle and was transported by Summerville EMS to Brookville Hospital where she was flown to UPMC Altoona for treatment. Pine Creek Fire Department assisted at the crash site.
