
A high spreed chase on Sunday morning in Jefferson County ended with the arrest of two men.
Pennsylvania State Police say the incident started in Punxsutawney along Orchard Avenue when they attempted to initiate a traffic stop; however, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed, committing several traffic violations.
The car stopped on Valley Road, where the occupants fled on foot. According to troopers, the driver, 19 year-old Logan Spade of Punxsutawney, was apprehended following a brief foot pursuit and found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
The police report lists the passenger, 20 year old Clayton Joiner of DuBois, as the victim and the arrestee.
The incident is still under investigation.
