
Pennsylvania State Police have issued a report on an accident Saturday afternoon in Clymer.
A tractor trailer driven by James Woolery of Irvine, Kentucky was turning left from Walcott Street onto South 6th Street when the trailer of his rig hit a tree branch hanging over the road and tore a large hole in the sheet metal of the trailer.
Clymer firefighters did a temporary fix to enable the truck to get moving again and it was driven to the fire department parking lot to await repairs.

A Penn Run man is facing a driving under the influence charge after an accident last Thursday afternoon in the area of Laurel Run Road and Spruce Grove Road in Pine Township.
Police do not provide details of the accident, which involved a van driven by a 60-year-old man. He was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for a blood test. Charges are pending the results.
