Pennsylvania State Police have announced some temporary changes in the way Troopers will respond to some non-emergency victims with the goal of mitigating the spread of Covid-19.
To limit in-person contact between the State Troopers and the public in certain situations, Pennsylvania State Police will collect information over the phone for incidents that do not require an in-person response, like lost-and-found cases, littering, identity theft, and general requests to speak with a state trooper.
Troopers will continue to respond to emergency situations and crimes in progress.
