According to Palace Entertainment, the three parks they own will not open as scheduled next month..
The parks are: Kennywood, Sandcastle, plus Idlewild Park & Soak Zone, Idlewild’s statement in part reads, “…While it’s too soon to… provide an opening date, please know we remain committed to opening… this summer… as soon as safely possible.”
The statement then informs season passholders that their 2020 pass will be extended until the end of June 2021 at no additional cost. They will then be offered 2021 extensions at a reduced rate.
