There was a scanner report of a possible apartment fire last evening in Punxsutawney.
The Punxsutawney Spirit says Elk Run, Central and Lindsey VFD’s were on the scene at the Bryer Avenue Apartments when smell of smoke lead them to a wax-melting warmer, which they shut down.
According to the published report, no one was injured and the firefighters were assisted by Jefferson County EMS and the Punxsutawney Borough Police.
