The CDC confirmed what our sister station, The Voice of Indiana County WCCS, reported yesterday.
IRMC received results back from the PA Department of Health confirming the first positive COVID-19 case in Indiana County. The patient has been in self-quarantine for the past 11 days and has not required hospitalization. It’s now listed on the CDC website along with Clearfield County’s two cases; however, Jefferson and Clarion still have no confirmed cases of COVID-19.
There are 1,687 in 48 counties and 16 deaths.
