
The Office of Commonwealth Libraries has mandated all libraries to be closed.
Consistent with the Governor’s efforts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. All libraries are closed through Sunday, March 29, a period in alignment with school closures.
The Wolf Administration will continue to monitor COVID-19 in the commonwealth, and at the end of 10 days will reevaluate and decide whether continued closure is needed.

Butler County Community College Brockway is suspending face-to-face courses, and move to remote instruction through May.
Butler County Community College will suspend all face-to-face format credit courses at its main campus and at its additional locations and transition those courses to remote instruction starting March 23 through the end of the spring semester.
BC3’s summer credit session, which includes face-to-face format courses, is expected to begin as scheduled May 11.

Effective as of noon the Civic Center (Borough Offices) in Punxsutawney is now closed until further notice and they apologize for any inconvenience.

With the library closed, the new HQ for the Week of Giving is the Punxsutawney Historical and Genealogical Society.

The Cross Town Food Pantry on Woodland Avenue at the United Methodist in Punxsutawney will still have food distribution this evening.

The DuBois Central Catholic Players performance of Cinderella has been postponed.
The new dates will hopefully be April 17th through the 19th and the 24th and 25th. Any reservation will be transferred to the new dates. If there are any changes call the school.

Due to COVID-19 concern, all public programs, events, and training in state parks and forests, including Yellow Creek State Park, are canceled through April 30.
Except for the parks and forests that have been announced as closed, state park and forest facilities remain open to visitors.

Wash your hands with soap and water frequently, use hand sanitizer when necessary, avoid touching your face, maintain a personal space distance of 3-6 feet, and protect germ spread by coughing/sneezing into your elbow.
