New flu cases of type A & B have slowed quite a bit in the past week.
Jefferson County had 59 new cases for a season total of 601. In Clearfield County they added 160 more last week, for a total of 1,070 cases. Indiana County has 775 lab-confirmed cases of flu this season, after an additional 55 positives were reported last week.
So far across the Commonwealth, there have been 83 flu-related deaths this season.
