
Three people in Jefferson County received several disturbing letters between February 26th and March 2nd and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
Authorities say a 46 year old woman and a 38 year old man both from Punxsutawney and a 64 year old Rossiter woman reported they received numerous unwanted letters from an unknown source causing them substantial emotional distress.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney, one of the letters had derogatory information about one of the victims.

There was a burglary along Walston Road in Young Township of Jefferson County last week.
On Wednesday evening around 7 someone entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole a wallet belonging to a 52 year old Walston Woman containing $300 in cash, driver’s license debit card and an insurance information.

A 29 year old Anita man was arrested last week in Young Township of Jefferson County for driving under the influence of drugs.
Few details were released, but on Wednesday night at 11:30 on Harmony and Pickett Roads Pennsylvania State Police say the man was DUI and was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Charges will be filed pending the lab test results.

The Pennsylvania State Police are looking for information into a report of criminal trespass in Winslow Township of Jefferson County.
The incidence happened around 7:30 pm on Saturday when someone damaged 58 year old David Roman’s property along Sykesville School Road in Reynoldsville. The suspect fled the scene and if you have helpful info call the Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois at 814 371 4652.
