The Borough of Punxsutawney will receive grant money to make improvements to the community.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, Josh Kalp, who is the Borough Engineer, said they received a letter from DCNR approving $50,000 in renovations and improvements to Hamon Field, plus, $87,900 to the East End Park for the building of a restroom, a pavilion and a tennis court.
