A man from Homer City who was lost in Jefferson County last week was charged for driving under a suspended license from a previous DUI conviction.
On February 27th around 9 pm, the Brookville Borough Police were dispatched to a residence along Jenks Street for a report of a man on a porch who needed directions to Punxsutawney; however, he didn’t leave and tried to enter the residence. When police arrived and talked with the suspect, they found the 24 year old was attempting to find his way home from DuBois and made a wrong turn.
Officers made contact with his parents, who declined to press charges against him for using their vehicle without permission, and picked him up.
