A man from Punxsutawney was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday morning in Young Township of Jefferson County.
Pennsylvania State Police say 29 year old Cody Weiland was traveling north on Route 119 near Hazel Lane when he lost control and veered into the southbound lane before coming to a rest. According to the police report, Weiland fled the scene; however, he was located and charged at the District Court.

The Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney responded to a call of harassment on Saturday in Bell Township of Jefferson County.
The incident occurred around 5 pm at a residence on Marvin Street in Punxsutawney, where a 43 year old man allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation that turned physical with a 32 year old male family member.
Names were not released as they continue to investigate the case.

On Friday afternoon the Pennsylvania State Police based in Punxsutawney received a report of a missing firearm in Burnside Township of Clearfield County.
A 59 year old man along Sylvis Road reported his $200 KEL-TECH 9MM pistol was lost or missing.
No other information was in the report.
