
The Pennsylvania State Police announced last week troopers and liquor control enforcement officers confiscated 71 illegal gambling machines, including 65 video gambling devices, from 17 licensed liquor establishments between January 22 and February 25.
The Punxsutawney District Office seized 12 machines.
Along with illegal gambling devices, more than $115,000 was seized across the Commonwealth.
In addition to criminal penalties, licensed liquor establishments engaging in illegal gambling are subject to administrative penalties under the liquor code.
