The pace of new cases of the flu held steady over the last week.
Jefferson County had an increase of 53 totaling 486 cases of flu reported. Clearfield County increased by 88 cases, bringing that total to 783.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting another 57 new laboratory-confirmed flu cases for Indiana County bringing the season-long total to 653 cases.
The number of flu-related deaths across the state is now at 66 for the season, which started in October of last year. That’s an increase of 12 deaths over the last week.
