Two people in Perry Township of Clarion County are being charged with making false reports to police and conspiracy.
The incident started last month when 26 year old Blake Masemer of Tionesta reported his 2019 Jeep was stolen from his residence between January 22nd and the 23rd; however, through investigation and a confession Pennsylvania State Police in Clarion determined that he and 53 year old Jodie Marshall of Parker allegedly lied about the theft of the vehicle.
Authorities say, the reported Jeep was involved in a hit and run crash on January 22nd around 3 in the morning.
Charges are being filed.
