
On Saturday morning at 1:45 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney responded to a single-vehicle crash that involved a fire and entrapment in North Mahoning Township of Indiana County.
Troopers say during the incident at Smith and Cool Spring Road, officers determined the 22 year old driver from Madera was impaired and arrested him under suspicion of driving under the influence.
The driver’s name and other information was not in the report.

The 70-year-old Strongstown man contacted police last night, saying he had used Paypal to pay for a Kitchenaid mixer that he was buying over Facebook Marketplace, but he never got the merchandise.
Pennsylvania State Police in Indiana are investigating the case.

A fire destroyed a $150,000 single-story home yesterday in Barnett Township of Forest County.
The chief of the Marienville Fire Department requested assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal in determining the cause of the fire that started around 2 in the morning in the crawl space of the house along Blue Ridge Road.
The victims, 49 year old Stephen Stahlman and 47 year old Crystal Stahlman, both of Clarington, were not injured.

A tractor trailer was involved in an accident on I 80 East, temporarily restricting travel in Union Township of Jefferson County.
This past Sunday night around 9, police say 49 year old Farooq Mughal of Cincinnati, Ohio lost control his commercial truck on the snow-covered interstate near the Corsica Exit and hit the guide rail, causing his trailer to fishtail and jackknife. The freight liner came to a stop across both lanes.
Mughal was cited for not driving at a safe speed. Corsica Fire Department and PennDOT assisted the Pennsylvania State Police based out of DuBois at the scene.
