
Police reports have been filed on a number of vehicle crashes that happened during Friday morning’s snow storm.
One of the crashes happened in Glen Campbell Borough. Pennsylvania State Police say it happened on Glenwood Avenue just south of Smiley Road. 47-year-old Rosalind Greene of Punxsutawney lost control of her SUV on a curve and slid off the road into a tree.
She was taken to Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Another police report states that about 45 minutes later on the same road just south of Jefferson Street, 21-year-old Cody Sanner of Glen Campbell lost control of his car. His vehicle slid off the road and into a utility pole. He and a passenger, 24-year-old Lance Martin of Glen Campbell, both suffered minor head injuries and were taken to Punxsutawney Area Hospital. A second passenger was uninjured.

At around quarter after 6 last Friday morning in Henderson Township of Jefferson County, someone was traveling about 20 to 25 miles per hour north on Route 119 and, due to the weather conditions, lost control of his vehicle and slid off the roadway into a ditch just south of Pike Road. He was not cited and his name was not in the report.

An Indiana man was uninjured in a Green Township crash. Pennsylvania State Police say Dale Miller’s pickup truck went out of control and slid off snow-covered Route 286, rolling over and coming to rest upright in a ditch.

Accidents for which police reports have not yet been filed include a crash on Route 240 in Green Township Saturday afternoon. Commodore firefighters report it was a rollover crash with no injuries.
