Due to severe winter weather conditions, PennDOT is temporarily reducing the speed limit on Interstate 80 in Jefferson, Clarion and Butler Counties.
They urge you to postpone unnecessary travel. PennDOT has reduced the speed limit to 45 mph and all commercial vehicles are restricted to the right lane on I 80.
An emergency travel kit is recommended if you’re stranded. Have a flashlight and batteries, jumper cables, first aid supplies, bottled water, and non-perishable food items.
Keep your lights on so other people can see your vehicle and it’s the law.
