A man from Rimersburg was arrested for simple assault criminal mischief and resisting arrest in Toby Township of Clarion County.
Pennsylvania State Police say on January 31st around 10:30 pm at a residence on Cherry Run Road, 24 year old Toby Weckerly was allegedly intoxicated and involved in a verbal argument with two women, a 25 year old and a 66 year old, also from Rimersburg. Weckerly is accused of striking one of the two with a closed fist. While police were taking him into custody, they say he was resisting arrest.
Weckerly was arraigned and placed in the Clarion County Jail on $35,000 cash bond.
