The Brookville Borough Police seized more than 560 stamp bags of heroin and methamphetamine with a street value of more than $11,000.
Police were assisting another law enforcement agency with an investigation when a 29 year old man from DuBois was detained for a probation violation. Officers found $2,370 in cash and meth on him and he admitted to hiding the stamp bags inside a coffee maker.
The unidentified man was taken to the Jefferson County Jail and charges were filed through the Magistrate’s office. The date and specific locations were not released.
