Community Action, Inc. will be surveying Jefferson County to identify “unsheltered homeless” on the night of January 22.
Homelessness exists throughout rural Pennsylvania but often goes unnoticed. Unsheltered homeless refers to individuals and families residing in a place not meant for human habitation, such as cars, parks, sidewalks, abandoned buildings, or on the street.
If you suspect someone is homeless or if you are homeless, please contact Community Action, Inc. for assistance at 814-938-3302 and request to speak with a Homeless Case Manager.
