Following an investigation, DUI charges have been filed against a man for an incident that happened on Christmas Eve.
According to the Brookville Borough Police Department, on December 24th they stopped a vehicle for having a burned out headlight on High Street and found the 21 year old driver under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.
His name and resident was not in the report. Charges were filed through Magistrate Bazylak’s Office.

Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney investigated a report of a person who attempted to buy a gun on October 5th on Saint Jacobs Church Road but was denied following a background check.
The name of person was in the report and charges have not yet been filed.

Poor road conditions was the cause of an accident last Thursday morning in Green Township of Forest County.
The drivers name was not in the police report that indicates an SUV was traveling south on Nebraska Road and failed to make the left hand curve because of the ice and snow on the roadway. The driver hit a road sign before colliding with a tree.
The operator was not injured; however, the SUV had to be towed from the scene.
