Gas prices saw a spike over the New Year holiday season, and prices are staying high for now.
Triple-A reports in Jefferson and Indiana Counties, the average cost of a gallon of gas is at $2.93. Clearfield County checked in with $2.91 a gallon.
The statewide average is $2.82 a gallon, and while it is a three-cent increase over last week at this time,
Triple A says the average is going down little by little. The national average stands at $2.60.
