There was a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 West yesterday morning around 9.
ExploreClarion.com cites a PennDOT report saying part of I 80 west was shut down for a while between the Shippenville and Knox Exits because, approximately a dozen vehicles, including tractor trailers and a PennDOT truck, were involved in an accident.
The published reports says several injuries were reported, but the extent was not released.

The heavy snow squalls caused a few accidents yesterday.
This one happened in Brady Township of Clearfield County, when 63 year old Mark Carlson of DuBois was traveling north on Golden Yoke Road, lost control of his pickup truck while going around a curve and hit a utility pole.
Carlson was wearing his seat belt and had only hand minor injuries. Brady Township Volunteer Fire Rescue Ambulance Company assisted the Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois at the scene.

Snow was the cause of a two-vehicle accident yesterday morning in Bell Township of Jefferson County.
Today’s edition of The Punxsutawney Spirit cited reports on the scene where two vehicles were traveling on Bells Mills Cloe Road, were unable to stop on the slippery road conditions and one hit a tree.
The published report says all three Punxsutawney VFD’s, and Jefferson County EMS assisted the Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney at the scene.

There was a tractor trailer accident on I 80 yesterday afternoon around four o’clock in Washington Township of Jefferson County.
Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois say 38 year old Christopher Duffy of Auburn Alabama was traveling east between the Reynoldsville and DuBois Airport Exits when for unknown reasons he traveled off the roadway, hitting a few small bushes and a ditch.
The Pennsylvania State Police were assisted by Falls Creek VFD, and no injuries were reported.
